Get Up, Get Out, and Get Active!

What is there to Do?

Being one of the most prominent and popular mountaintops in south central Connecticut, Sleeping Giant State Park is definitely a fun and scenic location to visit!         
·         Hiking – Over thirty miles of trails. They sponsor over 15 guided hikes each year.

·         Lookout Tower – There is a 4-story tower located at the end of the 1 and ½ mile scenic Tower Path. From this optimal point, you will be able to see the New Haven cityscape and the Long Island Sound.
·         Nature Trail – There are so many different animal species that you can spot while hiking Sleeping Giant’s trails!
·         Picnicing – dozens of picnic tables are located throughout the park!
·         Stream Fishing – Speckled Trout occupy Mill River at Sleeping Giant!
·         Camping, Rock Climbing, Horseback Riding, and Cross Country Skiing – You can enjoy the park, even in the winter months!

Admission to the park is free until Memorial Day! So hurry on up and take a hike!!
